I read up on Muhammad in a book pal. Written by Ibn Ishaq - The Life of Muhammad - written on stone about 100 years after the death of Muhammad. It is an English language translation from 1964 before Islam became an enemy of the world. Yes that's right pal. A book. Islam is not alone in this but it is remains close to its medieval inception. Religions tend to be far more important in societies where there is greater gender inequality or a gender based hierarchy in all walks of life. Funny that isn't it?
Islam is the real worry. Fundamentalism is as much a reaction to the Arab spring rather than the imperial nations exploitation or humilation that it claims it has sufferefd from by the West.
Sexual repression at the heart of the religion and men with an iron grip of the power and money etc. They have no intention of that ever changing.
These things alone are at total odds with the secular cultures of the West.
Multi cultural integration can only work when there are enough common "touchpoints".
Quilliam foundation is one of a few bodies trying to encourage modernisation and reform. It is not getting very far.
A backlash is coming if governments continue to censor open dialogue of the Islamic problem as it relates to integration and the medieval world view at the heart of it.
The interconnected world that has emerged via the internet and media over the last 25 years has been a catalyst that is propelling two civilisations (East/West) together far too quickly :-(

Again, you seem to be missing the point. All the recent terrorist attacks by ISIS, their followers or offshoots of the organisation have been in the name of religion. They're either killing infidels and non-believers, or trying to pummel the rest of the world into converting to Islam. That's a well established fact.
It's not accurate for you to say that because the USA dropped a nuke on Japan, and the USA is a largely Christian country, that therefore makes it some sort of religious attack against a non religious country.
Neither can you say all the people killed in both world wars were the victims of religion, simply because the main players were from largely Christian countries.
The two situations are completely and utterly different.
